In NZ, not wearing a crash helmet when riding a bicycle. The huge number of cyclists in The Netherlands seem to do just fine without them, but NZ is a 'Cottonwool Society' when it comes to such things. Perhaps the standard of driving cars and riding of bikes has much to do with it.
