ok, this is hard....

well, most of my poems that i posted on here were not mine.

i got them from my friends who said i could use them for sites, because it wasn't like i was publishing them or anything.

and well steve E, just told me that one of them "insane asylum",
was written by someone else. so i guess my friend lied. i even gave him the link to my friends site where she had it posted.

the only reason why i'm doing this is because i care for steve. he's a good friend. and i just don't think it is right that he keep that secret about me. he's been through too much to have to keep that secret for me.. he doesn't need another burden. and i didn't want him to have to keep that secret.'specially one that stupid.

i'm not looking for forgivness, sympathy, or anything else from anybody. i just thought that it was the right thing to do and you should know.

i promise that if enough people hate me and never wanna see me in this section again i won't come back. ever again.

Here we are again.

Fighting.

Fighting for our lives.

Fighting for our freedom.

Fighting for each other.

The way we are today was a mistake.

We all know, they all know.

We wake everyday in apprehension.

Wondering if this is the day.

The day to end all our days.

The day we die.

We wait and watch.

We fight to stay alive.

We may have been a mistake from the past, but we are here now in the
present.

And we plan to be here in the future.

So as I stand here fighting

I think of the good times.

I think of what life could have been like if we were normal.

No, I take that back.

We are normal.

Normal to each other.

Normal to our friends.

Normal.

When I was younger I always thought that it did not matter if other
people thought we were normal or not.

Boy, was I wrong!

Now that people know,

people who were not, are friends know.

We have to fight to survive.

They come for us during the day.

We are ready.

title-where have all the heroes gone?
Where have all the heroes gone?

To save all the people from dusk till dawn.

Don't they see that the world has come to an end?

They have always had a helping hand to lend.

Where have all the heroes gone?

Can't they see that someone was just murdered on their lawn?

We have no where to turn, we have no where to run.

I guess we should count our blessing in our last days under the sun.

I forgive you.

Its not like you had to tell us, and the fact that you admitted something we would never know otherwise says volumes.

Plagiarism is a serious problem and temptation for a lot of writers, so you are just human.

Really, really important for you to learn from this is the following:

Plagiarism in any undergraduate college class that gets caught by the professor will get you a failing grade in that class for the whole semester AND possibly expelled from your enrolled major.

So you would lose your chances of graduating with a degree that would enable you to become an archaeologist or anthropologist.

Plagiarism caught in a post grad class will get you expelled from that college and probably deny you access to another post grad college.

Finally, plagiarism is disrespectful to the original author. You will never be able to build trust among your writing peers if you are known to be stealing their work.

It's a good thing to learn this kind of lesson when you are young enough to recover from it, but you do need to think more about the possible consequences of what you do.

You could have permanently ruined your chances at the life you want.

It's a lot to think about.

i actually do no longer think of being unique is particularly substantial. the only way i attempt to be unique is by capacity of taking an old plot, then maneuvering it around so as that it would not shop on with cliches of that type. it particularly is perplexing, thinking lots of my memories incorporate vampires. generally when I write, I merely write something i prefer to examine. There are not too many books approximately Grim Reapers accessible, and actual no longer ones related to the son of dying. So i'm writing it. i'm hoping that Reapers often is the subsequent huge element after mine is printed :P As for analyzing a different tale over a regularly occurring one? i'd like an outstanding blend. working example: i like city fable, yet these days each and every UF is a replica of another. they're all precisely alike. Now i like specific components of it. Kicka-s-s women, vampires, a clean international with a supernatural twist...yet i choose something which could stand out mutually as additionally following the comparable hardship-loose formulation. finally i prefer to jot down the e book that stands proud....when I verify how. BQ: i've got started various. A game of Thrones, The Thief, A Crack interior the Sky, and lifeless Witch walking....they're all no longer the ultimate i've got ever examine. notwithstanding The Thief's ending replaced into especially rattling solid, yet i'm no longer able to advise it because of the fact the the remainder of the e book replaced into very uninteresting to me. i'm nevertheless going to declare the Seven nation-states sequence, even however i finished it someplace around November. That sequence merely haunts me. the 1st e book is The Demon King, and the 2nd is The Exiled Queen. i actually love those books plenty i could value them up there with Harry Potter.

I find it rather interesting that you say you are ONLY posting this confession/apology because you care for steve E. and you don't want him to have to keep your secret.

Trust me, dear...there was no secret for him to keep. Many of us knew for a fact what you'd done, as did you, or you would not have deleted your questions (containing the evidence) and you would not have block those of us who tried to make others aware of you unscrupulous, immature behavior.

And while a lot of folks here say they accept your apology, I wonder just how many will ever waste their time responding to you again. If anything, I hope you've learned a lesson.

Wow. Are you serious?
Has no one ever told you plagarism is wrong? Even if it is not copyrighted, and even if it is a friend's work. You must never take someone else's work under your own name. atleast put their name under the poem.
I don't know how you or your friends could do that.

And what is the point of posting someone else's poem?

It doesn't matter if you are bad at writing. Because you can improve. Be true to who YOU are. Some people on here may say you are bad, but don't take their insults to heart. Write because you like it.
Don't come back here until you can write for yourself and not plagarize.

I think this whole thing is silly. You made a mistake, it wasn't malicious or harmful. Just write your own stuff from now on, and if you want to just post your friends' stuff do it but credit them. Last but not least, this is online ... it's not life and death. So what if you "disappointed" a bunch of people you don't know? Just breathe and relax.

Yes, plagerism is bad, but you didn't even know you were actually plagerising I bet. Lots of people have done the same thing you just did; here are some examples:

It's postulated that Shakespeare -- the aclaimed "Father of Modern English" actually plagerized a large portion of his plays. He just sort of apropriated them as his own.

Chaucer stole from Boccacio who stole from the Greeks who stole from the Romans who stole from the cavemen.

Keats, Yeats, Donne, all pretty much passed poems around and kinda published whatever they liked and they all stole ideas from Ben Johnson.

I appreciate your honesty in confessing this. I still am interested in what you have to post. I would never hate you. I want you to keep coming back. Life is about growth and perhaps you will write some of your own poems that you can post.

As you very well know, I posted answers to your questions pointing out your plagiarism (but did not report you) and you blocked me for this, as you blocked other people for the same reason. If I am able to read your question, it means I am no longer a "blocked user" for you, so I will do the same and am going to unblock you, as I really appreciate the fact that you are ready to admit it to everyone.

Within each of us there is a poet,
Inside each of us a rhyme,
Expression is how we love to be seen,
Not always shown so everyone can deem.

Plagiarism, although not nice, how we all wish we could be as intelligent and come up with beautiful explanations and words for a song of understanding as they have been.

We all do it for those who we want to express something too,in a love letter or song for their sweethearts to love them as they wish.

Forgive them as they know not what they do,and only help them to see the error of their ways and not dismantle them of their humanity.
