According to economic theory, the middle class is the working class. They don't have the money to be leaders, but they are working and participate in the economy of the country by being consumers. The lower class is usually portrayed as either the very poor or the working poor, those that don't make enough money to actively participate in the economy

I guess it's people like me. I'm not poor but not rich either. So I'm in the middle. But I don't fall for what some politicians are trying to do which is spread class envy and class hatred. If a person decides they don't want to spend the time to aquire a lot of wealth and are content to be poor fine with me. One thing this country has is the OPPORTUNITY for all people to be what they want to be. If a person works hard and becomes rich also fine with me. But for some politicians to tell me that the rich get rich off the backs of the poor and should have a large portion of their earnings taken away so government can redistribute the wealth as they see fit insults my intellegence and I will always be against that kind of thinking.
