Don't know what your likes are but......
I think you should have the babysitter stay over so you can get f*cked up and f*cked (use some Birth control this time) and have the sitter get up with the kids in the morning. Or send em to a relatives house.
Any good comedy clubs near by? Dinner theater? Dance clubs (not my thing)? Sporting events going on?

The evenings are lighter and the weather warmer, why don`t you take some wine and a takeaway and drive off to some kind of local beauty spot for a moonlit picnic?
