Don't read anger here...I love my gray hair....I laugh at their mistaking that as an indicator of old. And then I block them.
Well I ask....Why do children assume gray hair makes one a Grandma?

If you think that is amusing, you should have seen one clueless chicky saying to meet men between 40-65, look in a nursing home. Obviously she has no clue.
I do have silver hair and I am a grandma so I ignore it, but I have tons of friends who are also silver that never had kids so it can be hurtful.

My mom has gray hair and everyone assumes she's my grandma. In third grade, we had a parents day or whatever and this one girl was like "Why'd you bring your grandma?" It made me mad...

MAYBE BECAUSE MOST SMALL CHILDREN WHO HAVE GRANDPARENTS HAVE GREY HAIR. SO THEY JUST ASSOCIATE GRAY HAIR WITH BEING A GRANDPARENT. PRETTY SIMPLE
