an offer. My credit is messed up right now, and I am currently working on getting it back together but my baby is due in sept. Is there any type of aide I can get from the state to get a 2 bedroom home? Is there like a grant or something. Please let me know. NO silly answers

In most states, the fact that you have a new baby is not sufficient reason to move you into a two bedroom unit. It is considered acceptable for a child up to one or two years of age to share a room with a parent. You might qualify on OTHER grounds, but probably not on the basis of having the child and needing another bedroom.

Perhaps you could rent out your house, then go rent a 2 bedroom place. Most babies stay in their mom's room for the first 6 months anyway so you have some time to do some planning. Can the father help out (he's suppose to help support his child).

I don't know of any grants or anything, but have you considered renting out your one bedroom and renting a two bedrom until you get a buyer. Now is a hard time to sell - the market is glutted.

Probably not- since you have a house already. I think it would make more sense to pay to have an addition done- it would cost less than moving, closing costs, etc. and add to the value of your home. Can you tap into your equity to make this improvement?

you can lower your asking price.....or wait until the housing market is better, or do an addition on your home, which would add value.
