Change your name on your wedding certificate, then go to the INS and show them your marriage certificate and ask them to issue a new green card (which if you are married to an American you may not need anymore but ask them) they will

If you are legally married you do not need a lawyer or go to immigaration. To change your last name all you have to do is show a copy of your Marriage Certificate. For example if you want to change the name on Social Security card, go to the Social Security office fill out the application take the original and a copy of the marriage certifcate. They will keep the copy and a new card will be mailed with your married last name. You do the same for passports and anyother documents you want to change the last name. The passport agency will charge a fee. You could of done this right after you were married you didnt have wait for this.

Go back to the immigration service or to an immigration lawyer. There are papers to use to change a name. By-the-way, it's not required that you change your name. It's just a common practice, but not required.
