Belt drive lawn mower. Not too much grass at all is too much strain. Adjustments?

Check the mower deck spindles for any binding. You may have a bent spindle. Good idea to give the mower deck a good cleaning, top and bottom before you check.

Is this a rider or walk behind? Are you talking about mower deck belts or ground motion belts?
