Both parties are bringing down the approval ratings.
A big problem for the Democrats is that they cannot control their caucus. This was a big problem the Republicans faced before and now the Democrats are having an even harder time.

I you sure it's all Republicans? Shouldn't you just be blaming Bush? I mean it's not as if the voting public who insisted on putting those do-nothings in congress in the first place are capable of figuring out that they ARE doing nothing but wasting money and time and disapprove. It's got to be the Republicans' fault, right? What are they doing? Telling people the lousy job the Democrats in congress are doing?

Both parties are to blame for the state of the citizens' feelings about their performance... With that said though, the Democrats have a majority of seats and are therefore in a better state to improve the perception. They are failing.
I don't like Republicans any better right now... but I am baffled as to why the Democrats have not taken a united and strong position to Bush towards the Iraq policy. That was the one issue that the voters were expecting from them.

I followed the link you provided, but I don't know if I read the same poll as you. What I read showed that the DEMOCRAT controlled Congress approval ratings are slipping from a modest start and that most Americans don't believe they have done much of anything.

It looks to me that the link you provided does not support your question. It does the opposite. Now that the Democrats are in control, according to your link, we are worse off and getting less done. I am still waiting for them to do anything besides hold hearings and go on witch hunts. What happened to the first 100 hours that ol' Pelosi said the Democrats were going to get so much done? It was like waiting for a firework to go off just to find out it was a dud. Just fizzled out.

Are you looking at muslims today with closed eyes or are you looking at them within a non-politically correct, ears wide open stance ??? When I say muslims, I`m talking about the ones that effect the world directly...Most of them...

sorry, Nancy is in charge, and Harry Reid 18% approval isn't helping and I'm sure they are doing well to loose 08 on their own accord.
