I don't like mushy bananas unless that involves a slip-n-slide and chocolate pudding.
When it comes to just regular bananas I like them soft but not mushy.

It depends what I'm using them for. If I'm making bread they need to be mushy, if I'm eating them I like them firm.

Firm in a fruit salad,soft to eat on their own and when brown and sloppy they make a good hair conditioner.Very versatile fruit.
