Who can finish within the trees and make the spectacular, akward, and astonishing plays? The paint is ruled by the big men defensively, but many try to get to the rim and finish.

Some names to start it off
Kobe Bryant
T-Mac
Vince Carter
Tony Parker
Steve Nash
Chris Paul
Dwayne Wade
Lebron James
Manu Ginobli (my pick)
any other suggestions?
Give some examples, don't just state a name please.

Remember we are talking non-bigs, so guards and small forwards.

Bk2Az: Have you forgotten that I just tossed some names out to start the debate. Plus since the trade he hasn't been the same.

TONY PARKER BIOTCH!!!!
I love Ginobili, but he is 6'6, and Parker is 6'2
Parker is leading the league in FG % because he is the best in the L at finishing at the rim. He is also leading the Spurs in PPG in the finals because of that reason. Also TP is the fastest on the list and has one of the sickest crossovers in the L!!!
Not to mention he is marrying EVA LONGORIA!!! he is stealing my chick!!! But dont hate the playa, hate the game!!!

Well, Ginobilli isn't a bad pick, despite how he always looks so out of control going to rim.

I think it's either LeBron, Kobe or Parker.

If you think about it, LeBron has the body of a power forward but plays on the perimeter. He's actually stronger than half the big men who play, so his strength and athletic abilities allows him to finish around the rim a lot more easily than other perimeter players.

It seems Kobe usually hangs in the air longer than any other player out there except D-Wade, and Kobe is also one the strongest guards in the league if it gets physical.

I believe Parker leads the league in points in the paint for guards; and this is for two simple reasons. One: He is one of the top three faster guys in the league. Two: His girly, yet extremely accurate, little tear drops he throws up.

Out of the three, I think I sadly have to award it to Parker.

I don't personally consider Lebron a non-big considering he's just as big as many of the "bigs" only faster. If you count him as a non-big tho, he is easily the best now and one of the best ever at finishing around the rim. Since I don't consider him a non-big tho, my pick for the best around the rim finisher is Baron Davis because of how he dominated inside against the Mavs and throughout his career. He is one of the most underrated if not the most underrated in the league.

Dwayne Wade is the best finisher around the basket, plus he is a pretty good free throw shooter for and 1's. Kevin Durant is the second best already!!!

Vince Carter- I saw a highlight of one of his games where he dunked over a guy 6'8". even though he got called for a charging foul it was awesome.
