It would quickly fill up with molten magma and clog itself up.

Let's say a tunnel suddenly appeared all the way through the Earth. The center of the Earth is under substantial pressure, so it would tend to force molten rock up through the hole. The molten rock would get to the top, cool off, and solidify, plugging the hole.

Rather like what happens if you puncture your own skin, eh?

There's no way of knowing what would happen (other that using scientific hypotheses) because tunnelling through earth would be impossible. Even a few miles into the earth's crust (its thinnest layer), the heat would debilitate any efforts at digging. It's just not possible.

Through the globe, then magma would fill it. Through earth, then it would depend on how deep. Tunnels are dug all the time, such as a tunnel from one city to another. Just depends on how deep.

Theoretically, If a tunnel through the Earth just randomly appeared then it would fill in. Some possible side effects could be loss of grav. pull from loss of mass, or major earthquakes. Major cities would probably be destroyed everywhere.

I think they've tried to dig a hole through the earth, but couldn't get very far because the eart got too hot, and was melting their tools.

the heat from the core would superheat the air and cause it to shoot out of the holes, thus creating the universe's larges blowdrier ,causing the planet to spin like a top and leave the Sun's orbit:^)

I could get chinese food delivered any time I wanted to. :) Seriously, the core's mantle is lava hot, and spinning very fast. The only way that's going to happen is if we break it permenently.
