They are wonderful! Most boats today have great motion stabilizers, you really don't feel any seasickness at all even in rough seas.

I have been on three cruises and loved them all. I am very prone to motion sickness...car...roller coaster, upside down room illusion, etc. I did not get sick on any cruise. The ships have long balance thing a ma jigs on either side to keep the ship from listing too much. Also, the higher up and the closer to the back of the ship the more the movement can be felt. The best time to cruise is during the winter months when hurricanes are not around. Yes they have at least 1 swimming pool. The only thing you will need to pay for is your drinks, both alchoholic and not including soft drinks. Also anthing you might want to buy.

Lots of fun, IF your careful! Most ships have pools on board. I took a cruise in 1994. Had fun...water was rough and did get a little sea sick the first day, due to choppy water...(we sailed to the Caribbean in Feb. that year...water was cold and rough)...but I understand most cruises are smooth and you have no problems. Mine came from riding the elevator the first morning (in rough seas)..the "up" motion of the elevator and the "side-to-side" of the ship at the same time...made me a bit queasy!
The rooms are nice...the food unreal...and if you have a chance to go, I would! You'll be sooooo glad you did!

Different cruise lines offer different experiences. Most of them have pools and some have rock climbing walls, ice-skating rinks, teen clubs and more. If you are worried about getting sea sick, then after chekcing your options, consider going on a non-cruise vacation to a resort in the carribbean. That's what I did and it was soooo amazing!

it is AWESOME- u can go see ur doctor who can give u patches for behind ur ear to ease the sea sickness... also there are some over the counter remedies that u can try.
if u are serious about goin u can check on the individual cruise lines websites which can give u info on where the boat goes, what ammenities are avail, etc.

The rooms are nice. You can take a virtual tour of the staterooms.
Some cruiselines have two and three pools and seasickness is a minor concern

if you're afraid of seasickness, a good way to check is to try the rowing machine at the gym.
if you can handle that, you;re ready for a cruise!
