Yes indeed. the classic line up of Dennis DeYoung, James "JY" Young, John Panazzo, Chuck Panazzo & Tommy Shaw put out some classic albums Grand Illusion, Pieces of Eight & Paradise Theatre. Can't forget the albums with John Cerulewski - Equinox and Cornerstone. Favorite songs: Lady, Miss America, Suite Madame Blue, Queen of Spades & Too Much Time On My Hands. Not a big fan of Kilroy was Here and stuff after Dennis DeYoung left.

Heck yeah, had most of their albums,
I had all the albums from "Equinox" to "Kilroy Was Here."
Kilroy was a big disappointment though.

Their last great album was "Paradise Theater."
Which oddly enough, is probably my favorite.
They were at their musical peak on the album,
but they dived bombed straight down on the following album.

Not because they all of a sudden lost it, they just made very bad choices, well, Dennis De young made some bad choices. "Kilroy Was Here" was all Dennis De Young's concept. That album was his baby.

The rest of the band, hated it, which that is what began the riff between, Dennis De Young and Tommy Shaw.

I like them, but I'm not a huge fan. Right now all I have is their greatest hits CD. I really like Lady, Come Sail Away, and Show Me The Way. Maybe one of these days I'll dig a little deeper into their discography, I know they made a few concept albums that I wouldn't mind hearing.

Love those guys, but not much at all after around 1980.

Their very early work is fanTAStic! Stuff most don't know. (except "Lady")

HIGHLY rec' getting the Wooden Nickel Recordings & The Grand Illusion cds.

("Mr. Roboto" is a joke. Don't bother)

Actually they are a very good band and have a very up beat style (syncopation). And ironically my Lacrosse team is named the Renegades, so before every game we play that song. And even more ironic is, there is a Lacrosse company named Stx.
