The GOP will continue on just fine (and I am one that dislikes Bush a great deal...due to his incompetence, yet am a Republican). Death of the party is not in the near future by any credible standard.

Hate to tell ya budy, but if you thought the 3,000,000 votes Bush crushed Kerry by in 2004 (The largest margin in American History), was big, then wait until 2008.
Hillary will lose by far more than that. I think we are on the verge of the Democrat party going through a major transformation.
The GOP is doing just fine. But thanks for asking.
I know the 27% approval rating for Pelosi, and 18% for Reid are just a fluke , right???

A third party is needed to wipe away the bone harded republicans, and jelly spined democrats. You and others are not offering a solution, only seeing red at the president from the start. The same as witnesses to a wreck, standing around and critizing the EMS instead of helping with the life saving.

No every party goes through slumps.

The Democrats lost control of Congress in 1994 partially because of Clinton's low popularity at the time. Then Clinton was reelected two years later.

The next Presidential election is wide open at the moment.

One could only hope but they will recover eventually and the 2 party system or I should say the 1 party system since they are so much alike these days will go up and down like a seesaw.
They get the good stuff and the American people get the shaft.

Have you seen the numbers for Mitt Romney and Fred Thompson.

P.S. Clinton was better?

Clinton was:

-disbarred
-impeached
-selling pardons
-committed adultery in the oval office
-lied to the american people
-lied to federal prosecutors and a grand jury
