And how do you believe that the government figures out who is answering what question?
Also, what proof do you have of this? None I bet. It just an idea that you thought up.
Also, have you considered the logistics. It would take thousands of people to be able to keep up with what is going on. Lets say you only focus on certain areas, it would still take hundreds of people to maybe catch one. A pretty big waste of resources.
Finally, if the government did do this and then wanted to get someone, they would have to go thru Yahoo to maybe find the person. They would need a warrent to do that and it would be a big news story. I have not seen anything on the news about this yet.
This is nothing more than a big government conspiracy theory. Stop giving something as inefficient as the government credit for being able to pull something like this off.

Oh yeah! I post a " I hate Bush because he sucks" and the second I press "Submit"; the CIA will break down my door and take me in and throw me in Guantanamo, lock the cell, snap the key on the lock, then weld the lock shut.
Riiiight! They have bigger fish to fry, like Bin Laden, for example; you know? The tallest Arab in all of Afghanistan; dressed in white, the guy the US has been trying to find since 2001, but can't find... The guy that runs the 7-11 in your town.

The federal government had profilers monitoring Malcolm X. They need to profile president Bush's financial advisors.

Oh, yeah, sure. Where's the evidence? Where's the link? Or is this just another liberal claiming that we're being watched? If this were true, I would have gotten an invitation to the White House a long time ago. And I haven't even gotten a phone call from an aide.

So that's where all of my hard earned tax dollars are going!
Seriously...everyone on Yahoo Answers (and leave out the other hundred thousand or so similar web sites)? Too bad their not focusing their efforts on the other hundred thousand or so hate sites, perv sites, terror sites, et al. Come to think of it "they" must employee several million geniuses who can profile all of us deviants.
Wait I just thought of something...my math is wrong. I've only describe maybe two hundred thousand or so web sites. Heck there are millions. I've got to recalculate!
Can you imagine the paperwork?
I am shocked! I am mortified! I want my mommy!

I don't doubt it.
If Yahoo consents there's nothing we can do. No one's forcing us to post here.
I assume the federal goverment is focusing its limited resources on the biggest threats, if any.
