Another reason I asked is because : If you don't know these relatively simple and prominent names , then you can't possibly have a qualified opinion on them .
Take this as a positive opportunity to learn what they are as this is far more important than Paris Hilton , K-Fed , and Anna Nicole Smith .

It is funny that you post this, for me anyway.

I actually need cheat sheets to keep some of these straight in my head; Hamas/Fatah/Hezbollah, being the most difficult for me.

I also agree that these issues are of greater importance than the brat-girls in the news. In defense though, people do need some comic relief . . . how much relief is the question. I am SICK of hearing about those folks.

Thank you.

i think of i'm knowledgeable sufficient; and that i'm tired of the propaganda. "The United countries, the U.S. and Israel have long demanded the deployment of the Lebanese military alongside the border with Israel. yet until Monday, the Lebanese government refused, saying it won't act as a policeman for Israel and that a deployment devoid of an Arab- Israeli peace settlement could threat having its military destroyed via Israel's extra effective armed forces." Sounds to me that Lebanon had the skill to stop this conflict and refused to realize this. It must be remembered that Israel replaced into our substantial allies interior the middle East whilst the final public of Arab countries have been sided with the Soviet Union. It additionally must be remembered that the Soviets oppressed the Christians and the Jews, yet gave Islam loose reign. additionally on a similar time as the Arabs say they have been there first, there has been a Jewish presence whilst Israel is now going back to antiquity, and on a similar time as Rome did scatter the Jews, even after seventy 3 C.E. there remained a Jewish presence there. The Arabs choose for to disclaim this, however that is been proved by archaeological findings. The Arabs are no longer harmless in this in any respect, they don't seem to be victims in any respect. Jordan replaced into created via the Arabs to avert Palestine from being placed there. All of this anti-Jews, and US nonsense is Arab propaganda. It additionally must be spoke of that we've in no way supported Israel via putting our troops into their conflict. that isn't the comparable for the Arabs. we've placed our troops on the floor to maintain them out of the hearth.

that's just mainly focusing on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict... and while important, there is much more to the situation

you also threw in the Iranian prime minister which widens the scope just a bit... which you should have also included the Iranian Islamic council and Khamenei...

you should also look at Saudi influences, Pakistani influences and Musharraf, even past Iraqi influences... and the development of Persian and Arab empires, the crusades AND PROBABLY MORE CERTAIN THAN ANYTHING the development and growth of Islam and how it came to shape the region today, with a focus on the divisions in the religion...

and why not throw in the 9-11 report too?

I think the Israeli conflict is focused on a lot, and not that it's not important, but there's much more to the story of the middle east... and why they do what they do...

but learning anything you don't know is always good...
