Sex is over in two minutes, they carry a weight for a good part of 9 months, the birth is traumatic, physically demanding and painfull, the hormones are shot, for a good part of the next two yrs, they have to wipe, wash, get sucked, clean up after teh baby, but yet they do it over and over again. As a man it makes no sence to me. I like the sex part of it though

Why do guys like to do home improvement activities? It costs more than it would to just buy it, it takes longer, it's difficult, strenuous, and stressful. In the end, you end up with something about the same or worse than if you had bought it or paid someone else to do for you. The reason is, when you finish a major piece of art, or a DIY project, or have a child, you feel proud, because that masterpiece was made by you, and the work you put into it cannot be replaced.

Reproduction is of great concern to any and all species including human beings.... male and female.
We're wired for the whole kit and caboodle. Men are wired to impregnant and women are wired to nest. You even say you "like the sex part." This is because you are wired to reproduce.
