Quite a list--what say you?

It is quite an impressive statement of position. I find that someone has that much strength of character as to go on the record. Just wish some of the commie candidates would do so, can you imagine, it would look like the Communist Manifesto.

Obviously Rudy has struck a chord with this, as you can tell by how the SOCIALISTS responded to your question.

I guess an honest politician makes the fearful.

Their answers really were quite stupid.

He doesn't have the power to do many of these things, unless he suspends the Constitution, which is the LAST thing we need.

Many of the items are undesirable.

By what draconian method will he end illegal immigration, secure our borders, and identify every non-citizen? He'd have to round up every person in the country, somehow, and check us all for citizenship.

Neither possible nor desirable.

Secure the borders HOW? Berlin walls on the Mexican and Canadian borders, and completely walling off all our coasts?

And he's going to do all this after cutting taxes, thereby INCREASING our already out of control debt.

How's he going to give us health-care using free-market solutions?

How's he going to decrease abortions? Criminalize them? Or is he going to somehow push through the things that would actually decrease them? How is he going to push sex education into our schools? He doesn't have that power.

I don't want strict constructionist judges, I want judges who abide by the PRINCIPLES of the Constitution, not increase the ranks of the brain-dead incapable of thought and judgment on the bench.

He's big on fear-mongering, isn't he? HOW is he going to ensure that EVERY COMMUNITY (99% of which aren't likely to be targets anyway) is prepared for terrorist attacks?

So, he wants to dismantle public education, does he? There isn't a "choice" program yet that gives ALL a choice -- they only help the rich. He doesn't have power over every educational system in the country.

Will he at least dismantle Bush's No Child Ever Educated Act?

What does he mean "expand our involvement in the global economy"? Or is that just hot air?

Pretty SCARY list, I'd say.

He's a megalomanic; we do NOT need another of those in the Oval Office.

I do think it is a great list but I sometimes question his ability to do all the things and wonder his commitment to the conservative items on the list like constructionist judges.

I think these are all good things to strive for, even though a lot of them are unachievable due to the politics involved.

I do find one of the comments interesting. We are worried about a man cheating and then getting divorced, but not a man (Clinton) screwing behind his wife's back and then lying about it? It amazes me how partisanship even leaks into our moral and personal feelings of others.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if every hopeful wrote down EXACTLY what the meant to do, gave an outline of how it could or would be done, then signed it -- contract like. So if they lied, we could sue them!

I see he has no plan for the situation in Iraq. I see a guy who promoted the corrupt Bernie Kerik for Head of Homeland Security who says nothing about addressing corruption in Washington, I see a guy trying to monger fear to improve his political chances. I see an overinflated dictatiorial personality say I will does this I will do that I, I, I, me me me me

I don't see him saying he will uphold the Constitution of the United States of America

I see Rudy "Il Duce" Giuliani promoting himself.

Amen. Rudy 2008.

This can all be accomplish with less taxes. The lower the taxes to better the economy, and more taxable income. Govt actually brings in more money if the tax rate is lower. Look at the numbers.

This isn't 'self-promoting', this is a straight forward agenda, instead of pandering to a socialist base with rhetoric.

Did he explain how he would accomplish all of that? Most of it he won't be able to do without the help of the congress and oh yes, it will take money. Lots and lots of money.

Yes.
1) It's a great package.
2) I think we will do his best to accomplish his agenda.

I say the first item is grammatically awkward, if it isn't entirely incorrect. "....on the offensive" is the correct way to say it.

Rudy will have martial law in place if we let him run the darned country. The man is an authoritarian who literally laughed at habeus curpus.
