My cousin is still in love with her psycho ex. He says he's changed, but his lips are saying something completely different. What advice could I give her on how to move on?

None. maybe she has a desire to have a psycho in her life. Stay out of it and offer no advice. Cousin or not. Shes a big girl. let her deal with the consequences if it comes to it.

i know all about a psyco ex and your cousins story sounds like mine. i had to have the wake up call. i took him back and 2 weeks were great and then he vanished again. i moved on and dated 6 months he comes back into my life said he was having issues but things would be different. starting tomorrow he was going to do right by me and everything would be great. well he did right by all right he vanished again and i never saw him again. the only advise to give her with out alienating her is " NO matter what you do I am here to support you, I STRONGLY believe in my heart he will hurt again and I AM TOTALLY against you taking him back. But its NOT my life he will be wasting it will be yours."........my best friend was right.

Love as a reason to hang onto the side of a train wreck is over used and a ridiculously childish idea. But your cousin's problem isn't yours and you have to be careful how far you get in the way of her wreck.

Generally there is nothing you can tell someone who is "in love" that will make them leave the psycho. let her know how you feel, that you're afraid for her but you love her and will be there no matter what.
