The President doesn't have much to lose by pardoning him. When you have a 29% approval rating, only the the die hard zealots are left and Bush can do no wrong according to them.

On the other hand, Libby was offerred up as a sacrifice by Rove and Cheney. They don't care if he lives or dies.

He is taking all the rap for Bush, Cheney and Rove, I;m sure for the first in his sorry life , he'll pardon him. He is afraid old Scooter might start talking and get the whole caboodle in another mess. I don't guess one more racketeering will hurt that Mafia bunch, they may let him stay , old big a** Cheney could care less if he rots in jail. I wish it was old Cheney big old fat a** going behind bars , where I hope the whole Bush Administration goes in 2008, just take old Laura, Rice and Lynn with them , where they can wave at each other in prison yard. Just wave, wave , wave and wave blow kisses, while Bush giggles., jumps and cheers.

Chimpy WImpy will pardon Scootie and
then say....Hey everybody...dinner's on me...
Lets go to McDonalds...and the Lemmings
will all cheer and run for their daily fix of fast food.
Sad and Pathetic....

Bush laughs & rides his tricycle
while mothers & wives cry at funerals....

Oh, Probably. Which is why his scumbag lawyers are trying to keep him out while on appeal. This way, when Bush leaves office on January 20, 2009, he can pardon the bum with minimum time served. It's just not right.

Yes, eventually.

Not sure Libby really belongs in jail. I can think of dozens more people who deserve it though.

Too bad that Cheney won't man-up and admit he authorized the leak.
