I am pisces, but I have deeper questions about my chart.?

I am a pisces born on February 26,1979 - 12:38PM (Central Time)- Norman, Oklahoma. I was born on the day of a total solar eclipse, so both my sun and moon as well as my mercury are in pisces. My rising sign is in Gemini. I have read sun sign descriptions about pisces. I was wondering if the other planets in my chart could shed some light into my personality. Thank you.

I wanted to read my chart as well, so I did an online search for "free birth chart" or "free natal chart" and when I got the chart, simply saved it as a picture on my computer to access later. If I knew where I'd gotten it, I'd tell you, but that was years ago. Look for one that does let you enter a time and place for your birth date.

Then I got a "Complete Book of Astrology" from a bookstore. There's all kinds and some of them you can get really cheap. I bet used bookstores are overflowing with them. I like to learn how to read a chart myself, and I think you would too.

However, I'll try to give you a quick overview with what's stored in my memory. The moon is a representation of our emotions. The traits of the sign it is in represents how we feel emotionally fulfilled and how we express our emotions. It also sits in a house, and houses take their characteristics from signs. It's best to look those up too. Essentially the planet is represents something, the sign is how it's expressed, and the house where in your life it's expressed.

I said the moon represents emotions, Mercury communication, Uranus your odd and creative behavior (Uranus spins on its side and other strange aspects), Neptune spirituality, Jupiter your logic and relationships with older members, Venus younger and female members, and Mars younger male members and/or work aspects. I think the most differences in how to interpret planets appears in Venus and Mars, so it's best to read up and decide for yourself. Your rising sign is how you portray yourself to the rest of the world, while your sun sign is how you are inside and show those you're closest to. It's important to read your sun sign horoscope too.

Since moon and Mercury are with your sun sign, you're style of communication and your emotions are in tune with you as a person, which must work great for relationships. However, being a Pisces (I know, I am one also) your form of communication is not very direct. You're more likely to show someone how much you love them, although saying it is nice to do too! With your moon in Pisces, that means you also like to have affection and attention given to you all the time.

Now with rising sign in Gemini, people may see you as and guess you are a Gemini! Are you more outgoing than it seems as a Pisces? Do you like jobs that require a challenge in communication and lots of interaction with people? These are parts of the Gemini rising sign coming out. Of course, I'm only offering suggestions. Some people aren't good at hiding behind their rising sign so it could appear quite differently. Go ahead and take a look and see what you come up with. Getting a book also means you can read your friends' charts, which is a lot of fun.

I agree. I am very sensitive. I hate to see people in pain, I love helping people, and also think and worry too much. Wow that's is interesting that you brought that up in his suicide note. I knew he was a Pisces but I never read the note. Us Pisces are a combo of all the signs. I feel that we are the best of them all. We are sensitive to people and their pain. Honestly most people are not like that. Pisces are more givers too. I feel that its hard to be a Pisces because we can be misunderstood most of the time. I totally understand what Kurt Cobain is saying in his note. The pressure of the world, life, and trying to save others can push you over the edge if you are sensitive like a Pisces.

The sun sign is the faintest decription of anyone,leaving out those that have a lot of other planets in their particular sun sign.The horoscope is like a map of you.So everything in it,principaly your ascendant and all the planets in it will reveal a lot about you.
To reveal more about yourself,I'd invest in a good astrology book that tells you the meaning of the other planets in their respective signs in your chart.Or ,of course ,you could always ask me,your resident astrologer.:)
