Processor speed how to compare what does 800 mhz mean can I look up the MHZ whats inside my pc?

I am trying to compare a pentium dual core below to the one I already have in my pc, they are both 3 gig but I don't know the MHZ of the one inside my pc it just says pentium R 4 CPU 3ghz 2.99ghz in my computer properties, how do I find out, which one is faster and how much faster?

Any advice is much appreciated.

well the pentium d is 2 p4s on the same socket.

RE: What does Mhz mean PC Deskstop ? sorry i no this sounds like a stupid question but what does a Mhz mean? is it the speed the higher the batter? I mean something like a 1066 Mhz or a 1333 Mhz ?
