It's not easy finding a person who is real, honest, interesting and also whom you can share mutual respect with... whether man OR woman. But the fact that you're taking account of such traits is a nice start. :)

I'm told they're out there, but when I began dating, my mom advised me to have fun but to realize you had to take 'em with a grain of salt. So I've always figured that guys are mostly real and mostly honest but never totally. This advice has served me well.

eventually yes you will. i have so there is no reason you wont. i'll grant you they are an extremely rare breed and should be placed on the at risk from extinction list but they are out there and wondering where all the real honest women are.

No, because the first time he said "yes, your bum does look fat in that" you would cry, and he would learn never to be honest with you again.
Most people want honesty only when they want it.
