In my opinion, our nation is not ready at all for a black or a woman president. The middle east has a low impression of women as is and with all the turmoil, how could they take a woman seriously.
Furthermore, it seems that as a whole, our nation would not be ready for a black president, especially a more left leaning one that can't admit he isn't 100% black because he is catering to Jackson and Sharpton.
Do you think either of these candidates are viable? Do you think either would do a good job? I'm quite scared for our nation if either Hillary or Obama get into the Executive office.

I vote based on platform, not based on skin color or gender.
Get out of your own head and maybe read up on the candidates.
CNN's website has a really great candidate profile section.
I'm not so sure Obama is catering to Jackson and Sharpton. But if he is, he is no more guilty of catering to his constituents than any other political figure.
I really like Fred Thompson right now---you should really read up on the candidates. I can't even begin to tell you how small your mind sounds reading this question.
I'm quite scared if you cast a vote at all.

I am not a supporter of Hillary or Obama but I have no problem with a woman or black candidate, in fact for a long time I was hoping a black woman would run - Condie Rice.

i would not settle for Obama especially because of the fact he hasnt been interior the political international long sufficient to allow me know how he could do yet i could vote in Condalisa Rice in a heart beat. She is clever, vivid, and maximum needed she doesnt spew political crap that maximum existence time politicians do. You in no way see her pointing the finger saying that individual is to blame for the concern. in fact they asked her to run for president yet she refused. especially because of the fact i think of she realizes that the president incredibly has little or no power to do something yet could take the blame for each thing. If via some act of god they ever get her to run for president i think of she would be voted in. Sorry have been given off the concern. Race could in no way come into it. it would be on the type you get up on your pricipiles, your values of what suitable and incorrect are, and maximum needed the type you're taking accountability on your words and movements. i'm a white male yet nevertheless sense Condalisa Rice is the final candidate for president in Washington. the only different good candidate I even have seen replaced into ross pero and regrettably he didnt win yet have been given clinton elected. I dont like the republican or democratic occasion yet have observed that alot of republicans will vote outdoors their occasion traces for what they think of is an excellent candidate the place as democratic voters will vote democratic no remember what their candidate has executed.

So it seems to me then - that if the East has such a low opinion of women - give the worlds most powerful job to a woman - maybe then they might think twice about the power of women.
Lets face it - I think anybody could do a better job than Bush

Our nation is ready for either, but our nation is not ready for ANOTHER Clinton and I feel that Obama is not ready for the presidency. If Condoleeza Rice decided to run for president, I would vote for her and she is black and a woman.

Firtst off neither one. It has been the white male that put us in this situation so it should be one of their own that takes the blame for when it all falls down. Personally for me it makes no difference who wins my condition wont be made any better because of the president, never has never will.
