There was a series on TNT called Into the West, had a lot in it. There was also a movie on Disney Channel called Buffalo Dreams, but I can't find it. Also the movie The New World. The original Man of The House has some too.

Gotta go with Dances with Wolves! Also, check out all of the old westerns. Portrayed in stereotype, but nonetheless, . . . Lone Ranger, Gunsmoke and a TON more you could research. Also, look up Graham Green. He's a HUGE star who has done many films. Google him (oops, Yahoo him) and I'd bet you'll get most of the info you'll need. Good Luck!

The Education of Little Tree (1997)

It's a story about a young boy who is half white and half Cherokee, who goes to live with his grandparents in the backwood of Tennessee, and is taught the ways of the land.

It was a pretty decent little film, that went sort of unnoticed by most.

Another film, which I haven't seen yet:
Geronimo: An American Legend (1993)

A good place to start would be the semi-fact based movie "Thunderheart." It takes place in the 70's and is about a F.B.I. agent who is half Native American conducting a murder investigation on a reservation. It stars Val Kilmer and Graham Greene, excellent movie

Where the River Flows North.

This may help: go to www.imdb.com, change the setting to keywords and type in Native American or Indian. This will probably give you the most complete listing.
