Thats actually a very good question. I often think that. But the reason for that is, everything has a reason or a perpose to happen. Sometimes we wish we can take things back that we said, stop something from happening, take back what you said to someone you love and you did not realize you said it, take back cheating on your bf/gf....things such as these happen everyday and we cannot take them back.
We ask "Why can't we put everything back how it was?"
The answer: We cannot put everything back the way how it was because our world would not be how it is today. It all happens for a reason, maybe the bad thing that happened to you will become a better thing in the future.
If we could put things back the way they were, we would be God. As we know only one being can do that and that is God.
So enjoy what happens in life, for that will be a new beginning.

Cuz change happens.
At some point, we have to move on from something or someone in order to experience peace and happiness in the long run. Change may be good or bad, but it's something that we have to accept. It's unavoidable.
It's better to live an accepting life rather than a life of wishing back memories.

Putting things back the way they were won't fix anything. Changing what system caused the problem in the first place is the only way to have true change.

some things can't be fixed. or we can't change the past or which things you trying to put back to how were? or nothing stays the same or the future is looking brighter
