In an effort to stay away from adding cannibalism to this already strange pondering, we’ll use zombie cows. If you eat the *cooked* meat of a zombie cow, would you become infected? If it is an infection, and it’s in the blood, extreme temperature should kill it, so hypothetically would cooked zombie cow meat be safe to consume?

according to pop culture Zombieism is caused by a blood infection and is blood transmittable. the muscle tissue we eat as meat is full of such blood...

I vote for zombie meat to be safe, only if well done. You don't want to contemplate what could happen if you eat infected meat of Zombies! LOL

Properly cooked meat boils out the blood. In this instance, you shouldn't be infected by eating a steak from a zombie cow.

I really had to laugh at this question...and I'm gonna play along.
Personally, why on earth would you want to eat infected meat? I suppose if it's cooked thoroughly it would steralize the meat...but...um...I still don't think I'd eat it.

There are already zombie cows, the ones that have mad cow disease. Would you eat meat infected with mad cow? Didn't think so.
