My brother signed a mail that we weren't supposed to get from my dad because it's like this big law thingy. But my brother signed it so my mom is going to the post office, but is there any way to give back the mail?? We're not supposed to get it!!!

Either call or take it to the PO and explain the error.

Too late.

On my route, I will not have a minor sign for a piece of certified or registered mail. I am assuming your brother is under 18.
Even if it is something 'law thingy' it really doesn't matter. Even if she was home and refused the article it would not make much of a difference. The law will take it's course, whether she signs for the letter or not.

If your brother is a minor, his signature is not going to stand up in court or anything. Don't worry about it

The damage may already be done.
If it is an item that needs to show chain of custody it has already been broken.
