If someone was about wipe out all of your memories from your entire life but offered to let you keep all your memories of one single person, who would it be? Why?

One person. Remembering your mother means you would not remember your father and vice versa. (Don't ask me how it works, its magic.)

Good question. A star for sure!

That's hard. I don't think I could choose. That's so sad!

You made me think. Made me recall the people who matter the most to me but I couldn't choose one over the rest...I wouldn't want to give up all the rest. Each person in my life has made an impact in some small or large way. Every one left an impression, taught me something, shared something.

Well I suppose if I HAD TO choose one, on pain of death, I'd pick my sister. She has been there my whole life as a best friend. The most loving, supporting member of the family. I often wished she had been my Mom (not that I don't love my mom but she can be very negative. I never felt very close to my dad or my brothers.) Other friends and lovers have come & gone through the years but my sister has been a constant. She always listens and understands. She is the voice of reason & a sympathetic ear. She has been there to comfort me in my sorrows & share my joys with me. She is the most beautiful human I have met. I don't know how I would have gotten through without her...

for me my parents are very important. so i would like to keep the memories of one of my parents. that would be a boon for me in such a situation. and eventually if i remember one parent, my curiosity will never let me breathe happily till i know about my other parent, and my friend, memories can never be wiped away completely, there has to be a hazy picture, a blurred scene, somewhere tucked away in a corner of your mind.

good question.
:-)

Duh this is easy... the person I would choose would be the person I would be spending the most time with from the second I lost my memory. There is no mention of everyone forgetting me. As for reasons: I would need someone to help me re-acclimate to my new world (with a current history this would be so much easier) past memories aren't going to help me live TODAY and no one I would choose from my past would want me to be lonely now with only their memories to keep me company.

That's horrible. Having to choose something as that.. although once it was over, you'd not care.

Hmmm... My sister. Because, I would remember everyone else after leaving this plane. But she is my best friend and we laugh all too often. I couldn't forget that. And, I'm sure she could fill me in on my parents!! :)

~~~ A cat named Raisa. She was better than a person, as I only have good memories of her. As much as I loved my dearly departed husband, I can remember things I'd rather forget. That's cold huh.Then again......if I didn't remember him, I wouldn't miss him so much,and I'd be happier. ~~~
My daughter. Why, because I love her unconditionally and no matter what good or bad, I want to know and be part of her life!
That is really hard!! I would have to go with my mom, she is my best friend. Plus she would be able to tell me about my kids, boyfriend, and the rest of my family.
Duh... I'd keep all my memories of myself. If I can retain all the memories of myself, I should be able to piece the rest of it together.
If for some reason that's illegal; 2nd choice is my imaginary "head friend". You know. The friend I talk to in my head, so I don't have to think out loud.
