I was on a date with a guy and I thought our waiter was really attractive and funny so I went in the ladies room, wrote a quick note to the waiter including my phone number and I slyly put the note on the table when we left. I ended up dating the waiter for quite some time.

Well one night a bunch of my coworkers and I went out for drinks after closing and we wound up back at one of the peeps apartments that was nearby.
There used to be this thing called Shoppers Guide (if you've seen the little free book you can find to buy cars, boats etc. it was the same company) that had a section for singles...man looking for women vice versa etc.
none of us were dating anyone so we made a bet and we all made up ads to put in it. The bet was to see who could find a mate and actually date them for a bit. Well, I met someone and actually married them a year later!!

Yes, I met my husband when I was 16 and worked for him. (he is 11 years older) He thought I was an annoying teenager and I thought he was a jerk. When I was 28, (we had talked intermittently through the years) I moved almost 400 miles away....he tracked me down. I was on a business trip at the time and he flew out to see me. We were married a year later. His family dug out some pictures from the restaurant they owned and I worked at...there was a picture of me and him when I was 16! We keep that one next to our wedding picture.

I met my husband at work. It was weird because his brother started working there after we became friends. I had no idea it was his brother and I thought he was an as shole. Then I found out he was my now husbands brother and thought he was cool. He developed a thing for me (the brother did) but it never went anywhere because he got fired and started dating a bi-sexual (who later ended up dumping him for a girl!) So me and my husband kind of started dating because of his brother because his brother asked me to hang out one time (not really a date) and my husband was there and things just kind of progressed from there. We went from being friends, to close friends, to dating. We started dating on his 25th birthday. I hate his brother too cuz hes a dick. Guess I shouldve just trusted my first instincts on the guy. Glad I never started dating him. Even my sister in law says I chose the "right" brother. But I guess I do owe him a thank you for really being the one to get us dating in the first place.

I met my husband when he was working at Old Navy. He was the guy that took the clothes that didn't fit...I started flirting with him, he asked for my phone number, and to my surprise called me 2 hours later. We've been together ever since.

Back in high school we used to cruise around town on the weekend. I met this kid who was still on a moped. Too young for me, but he told me to look for a certain car, it was his brother. Pulled him over and I fell right in love. We dated for 5 years, and then were married for 6.5 years. So the kid on the moped turned out to be my brother in law!
My current husband I met online. Far more boring. :)
