I was never afraid to die until I was recently told I have a brain aneurysm. Now I'm terrified.

I'm not joking. They don't operate if they don't have to. I'm just saying, you never know what can happen, and that in itself is scary, isn't it?

I'm not afraid to die. I'm having major surgery this summer and I know there is a chance it could go wrong or I might not wake up but that's OK. What will happen will happen. I love my life and don't want to die but worrying won't change things. Good luck

Don't be afraid.I suffered a brain aneurysm 4 years ago,it is really a miracle that I am still here today.I had the best Neurosurgeon on staff, that morning when it happened. He clipped my aneurysm and stopped the hemorrhaging(I was going into a coma). You're lucky that doctors are so advanced now,it used to be that someone with an aneurysm wouldn't make it back then.So don't get overwhelmed, they're going to take good care of you.Good luck and I'll be thinking about you.

I don't think I am afraid to die, (but if put in your position that may change). Everyone that is born must perish it is just a part of life, it is true that some leave earlier then we think they should but it is in God's hands when we are born and when we shall return to him. The only thing that anyone can do is make most of the time when they are here, and have no regrets about any decision they make.....BTW Good luck and i hope all works out well for you.

Sorry to hear that but if you believe in God and you live right and do all you can do not to mess up then when you die you'll go to a better place and no need to be afraid of dieing. I'm not afraid to die since i know I'm going to a better place.

I assume one of the people you nurse has that condition, not you.
If you had such, you wouldn't be here with us unknown people.

Death is the most suppressed fear. Some even create an afterlife to escape from this inminence. These people are preparing so much for afterlife, that they don't worry too much about the quality of life in this world.

A person does need to prepare for death. Religions teach this, some more mature than others. There are periods in life when one is more interested in this issue. Time offers us other things to do...

Maybe fear of death is worse than death itself.

I'm not afraid to die a "natural" death, but I would lie if I said I don't fear dying entirely.. I just keep on living every day as if it was the last one, and I'm content with that..

Are you serious? If so, why aren't they operating on it before it bursts? You have to be joking. But, just in case, death is nothing to fear if you know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Death for Christians is simply closing your eyes on earth and opening them in Heaven forever! What a great concept!
