hair dye job gone bad, home waxing, stuff like that?

Back in the early 80's when guys got perms I was in a new salon (my hairdresser frequently changed jobs) on a Saturday and I was sent to change into a smock. Now I was the only guy there so I do as i am told and quickly come out wearing a smock I got off a pile of neatly folded smocks. As i start to walk to the front of the shop the receptionist yells "Not that one, that is a lady's smock!" Every head in the place hears her and looks at me. I am mortifiedas I then glance at the black smock and realize it has little cap sleeves and a small pink rose applique on the pocket. She meets me by the changing room to correct this problem and says you should have put on one of the men's smocks and then she realizes there weren't any in the room. So I now get to stand thereeven longer as she goes to get some from the back room. It got a bit worse when I then discover that my stylists station is right up front. Now having a head rolled in perm rods is a moment in humility for a guy but my stylist had just learned a new technique of perming using those multicolored twisty foam curlers. So I was then rolled in those and had a small garbage bag used to cover them during processing. Being seated under a dryer is one thing being wedged into was another. That is my tale and the bottom line was I survived and ended up with a great final result. I guess it could have been worse because when I return for a trim my stylist relates the excitement they had a few days earlier involveing evacuating the salon and bringing clients a block away to another salon due to a bomb threat. Now that would have been the icing on the cake if it happened that Saturday!!!!

My friend and I were helping each other wax. She put it on my leg, then tripped on something. She fell face first into my leg whichb had sooo much wax on it. HEr eyebrow got wax all over it. She didn't want to pull her whole eyebrow off, so she had pieces of wax all over her eyebrow for her date with her crush!
