Somehow it is pointless to ask the con retards this question. They will attack, deny, spin, and look the other way. If poll does not matter, they would have still hold on to congress. I know they would love to. They love Bush it more than they love junk food.

No.

I believe there are MANY issues on the table that are leading this country down the road to destruction.

IE:
1. Boulder CO sex/drug panel

2. 9th Circuit court ruling that "family" and "marriage" are hate speech

3. a teacher playing Brokeback Mountain for her 12-13 yr old students (and saying what happens in my class, stays in my class)

4. a child acting stupid puts a bag containing a ham sandwich in front of a Muslim student and is charged with a hate crime

5. Socialists running our Congress

6. People marching with burning effigies of soldiers

7. People "peacefully" marching with a swastika over Israel's flag

8. Students being subject to drug testing via extortion

9. Legislation to ban or regulate baking soda

10. Target thinking about taking "pork" out of their stores since some people are offended by its very mention

11. Taxi cabs refusing to give service to people if they
have a seeing eye dog, or had a glass of wine with lunch

12. Separation of church and state being taken to the point that it violates a persons right to free speech

13. Mere "offense" being actionable by law

14. Income tax

15. Raising moral-less children

16. The state taking parental rights away

17. Ever growing national government

18. Illegal immigration amnesty

19. Indoctrination of children in school into the new "religion" of the left

20. College aged students being treated as if they were "wittle babies" with "no-gun zones" that leave then sitting ducks for the crazy who doesn't follow the rules

I'll come back if I recall the rest of my grievances.

Not all conservatives are republicans. Most republicans have lost the meaning of conservative.

And, no, this country is headed in the wrong direction and has been for awhile. The first Bush and Clinton both had a big hand in it too. None of the potential candidates on either side seem to be a step in the right direction either.

There are many times in history that the majority of a particular group were wrong...that's how Nations fall. Just because a poll says our beliefs are not the most popular is not an indication of right and wrong, it is only an indication of a difference of opinion.

I was under the impression that we were all Americans, Everything that has happened has been because of the American systems in place. I am conservative...I KNOW BUSH is a good and moral man...I also KNOW that he is being used as a scapegoat for Dem's and Libs...I'm tired of being blamed for what 95% of the country supported...just because I haven't jumped ship...I do not have to agree with 100% of what this administration does to continue to support it.

1/2 the country hates Bush, and the other 1/2 hates the democrat controlled congress, leaving nobody satisfied. I'm surprised the number is as high as 21%.

Wrong! I am conservative, and I think the country is headed in the WRONG direction. I don't believe that is acceptable to tell teenagers that it is ok to experiment with sex and drugs.

I don't believe that the problems in our country are because of the war or George Bush, we were headed in the wrong direction way before that.

Elections will be soon enough. What are you gonna whine about when either Guiliani or Thompson crushes Hillary and breaks the record for largest victory margin in history, which is currently the 3,000,000 votes Bush beat Kerry by???

Uh-huh.

Look,

600 years ago, 99.9999999999999% of the people in world believed the world was FLAT and SQUARE

.00000000000001% (one guy!) thought it was round and 3-D.

I know... They didn't believe in or were swayed by polls, but maybe the other 99.99999999% of the people are wrong and you are right...

Oh, wait, he WAS right.

I see new polls being talked about everyday on the different news channels... not once have I been asked any of those questions. They therefore do not reflect my approval OR disapproval of anything.

Considering that the top thinkers in the country number about 20 %, I'd say that explains it.
