Tennis isn't played according to a fixed time like football , but rathera certain score. So , in view of that , matches can be 1 hr, 2 hrs or 5 hrs long. They may even be shorter , if a player retires ,etc.Usually men's matches are 2 hrs long and women's 1-1/2 hrs .

tennis matches are played to 6 games, and it depends on who you play against. some times you play add-ins so the games last longer and sometimes you don't.
the scoring is love, 15, 30, 40, and if you play add ins (add in or add out, vice versa)
there is no really set time sometimes tennis matches can last a looong time because you could tie for each point like 1-love than 1-1 than 2-1 than 2-2, etc u get the picture!
hope i could help and have a great summa! ;)

You answered your own question by stating that there was no set time limit. Tennis matches all vary in time depending on a lot of factors such as compatability of opponents, surface, match set-up (8 game pro-set, best of 3 sets, best of 5 sets) and a few other factors.

It depends on what type of match you play. If you play an 8 game set it takes around an hour. If you play 2 out of 3 it can take a LOT longer (up to 3 hours). Hope this helps.

In tennis there are a fixed number of points that need to be played, depending on the tournament and whether the players are girls or boys. If one player is much stronger than the opponent, he will win all the points and the game will be over quickly. If they are both good, then it will take much longer.--- look up the rules of tennis and you will see what needs to be done

Tennis matches are played to a certain score. Time has nothing to do with it. If one player makes all the points it will end quickly. If the players trade points back and forth, it takes longer.

Between 1hr 30min and 2hr for men; 1hr and 1hr 30 min for women. A 7-6 game will usually last an hour though.
