I think 30,31,, still young enough to start a family and have seen enough of life to understand the hardships of marriage,, I do not think kids today at 21,. do not have much of a clue about it, let alone child rearing, cost of insurance, homes, most dont even know who the president and Vice president are,
maybe 30 years ago 21 would have been good, but after what I have seen in the past 30 years, most kids are not out of the house till 22, and mom and dad still support them

I don't think there is a magic age when people are ready to marry. The best time is when both parties are mature enough and committed enough to see a marriage through to the end. For some people, that may be at age 21. For others, it might not be until 35. And for others still, it may not ever happen.

I agree with you, 21 or 22. But it really depends on what you have going on in your life at the time. I'm almost 22 now and if I had my way would be AT LEAST engaged by now, but I haven't finished college yet and while I'm away at school my boyfriend and I are in different towns, so I probably wont actually get married until I'm 24.

To marry a person if not sure to be married not by putting a purpose of age to it would be young and deterministic to answer the question in which to answer by a outside force resulting in various ways resulting in expressionistic or opinions. The age given by the question, 21 and 22 is expressed by whom you are as a being to support this, all coming down to when your ready or so that your pushing to early in years to come resulting in a little bit early frenzy but to push it is a result too. 28 is a good age of that because opinion is defined differently. Letting time unwind is a wise way to pull marriage off.

It's not so much the age but when you mature to accept responsibility not only yourself but someone else. It's when you have sewed enough wild oats to only want one more forever. It's when your are ready to equally share everything in your life with someone you care about more than yourself. It's when you know the meaning of respect and demonstrate it every day. It's when you want an equal partner. This age comes at different times for all of us. For some it may never come.

I got married at 22 and now I'm 35 and ready to get out. I wish I had had more fun and enjoyed my youth more. But, if you think you want to have several children, it's better to start early. (I have 4 kids)

Late 20's early 30's. By this time you have had some fun, you are established in your job and have some of your own money and you both are a lot more mature.

Today there is no appropriate age for marriage. It should be most if you both are indeed emotionally ready for that kind of committment. Because of the divorce rate people are just living together... it is the same of marriage... just missing the piece of parchment paper to tell you otherwise.
