What can I use to keep my recliner in the reclining position?

The bottom half you rest your legs on does not stay up. I'm not sure what to use to keep it up

Look at the levers that hold the foot up. They may be bent or a connector (bolt) may have fallen out or broke.

Roll up a newspaper or get a small shim and stick it in between where the joint is.
