It don't matter, its over!!!! I blame the Lakers front office, because when the Lakers don't make the finals the TV ratings will be low every year.

You blame the Warriors for exposing the Mavs' Achilles Heel and exploiting it? I give the Mavs credit for being built to be a constant contender against the Spurs - my husband says that that team was molded specifically to work the Spurs - however, courtesy of the Warriors and the Heat, they were exposed as having meltdowns under the spotlights (almost similar to the Cavaliers) and couldn't take the heat (no pun intended). Then again, the Spurs probably would have defeated the Mavs too, although it probably would've been 7 games, not 5 or 6 because Terry couldn't shoot for crap, and the others didn't step up, and Nowitzki could definitely be handled by Tim Duncan.

I don't blame anybody. The playoffs played out like they were supposed to. Otherwise someone else would've been in the finals. The Warriors have consistently beat the Mavs so it's the Mavs fault that they can win 60+ games this year but can't figure out how to beat one team. I do blame Dirk however for being 7 foot tall and shooting fadeaways. Dallas needs somebody to work with down low that will be a threat to score or a point guard or shooting guard that will consistently be a threat to score. And they need to send Dirk somewhere to toughen up. Make him play in the Rucker Park tournaments this year and get banged around some.
But the playoffs havent' been destroyed and as much as y'all think the Spurs are boring, they play the game like it was designed to be played. I don't want to see bad defense and quick crossovers, I want to see solid basketball and that's what they play. I get frustrated watching the warriors have a 10 point lead with 3 minutes left and lose it because they're still shooting threes and can't finish. I hate seeing one person go off for 20 to 30 points worth of layups because the defense won't rotate over to help their teammates.
Maybe next year for Dallas but they have some things they need to work out, or they can hope that Golden State doesn't make the playoffs next year.

the warriors are the mavs kyptonite...i mean don nelson is the coach of the warriors and he used to coach the mavs...so he knows the mavs inside and out...hell better than the mavs know themselves....so don nelson knows exactly how to defend the mavs style of offense.....plus considering the warriors are not that bad of a team to begin with.....the mavs were set up for disaster.....
i think the mavs would have been better off facing the suns or spurs in the first round than the warriors.....

the mavs had a chance to knock the warriors out of the playoffs during the regular season, but chose to rest their starters to preserve them for the finals. it was just karma coming back to kick them in the ***. the suns would've put up a better fight if they had amare and diaw for that one game. regardless, san antonio was playing the best team ball going into the finals and it would've been hard for any of the other teams to knock them down.

Avery Johnson made a bad call, he should have rested the starters on the last game and lose to the Clippers, but no they had to beat them and that let the Warriors sneak in to the Finals and the rest is boring basketball history as to the most boring Finals and lowest scoring and lowest ratings.
