Congrats on your upcoming nuptials.

My hubby and I will be married 18 yrs next month and have been together for 26 years and we are still very happy and very much in love.

Those that say negative things have probably been hurt and not yet discovered that they can still find and enjoy love. I did it after my divorce from my first hubby as did many of my friends and relatives.

It's never to late until you give up!

I'm getting married in October - I've never been so happy in my life! I enjoy looking forward to walking in the door and seeing my fiancee's smiling face. I love sitting on the porch with him discussing everything under the stars, holding hands and the whole nine yards.
People go through bad situations sometimes that leave them bitter, and negative about love. It's understandable when you hear some stories. It's also sad, and all we can do is hope that those people find happiness like we did!
Have a wonderful wedding, and congratulations!

I enjoy being in love. I am not married yet but me and my fiancee are very happy. Love can hurt alot of times. Couples have their moments of fighting and not getting along. People make negative comments about being in love because maybe they had bad experiences. Being in love is the greatest thing ever. Just follow what you believe in and follow your heart. Don't listen to what other people say because it can be totally different for you. Congratulations and good luck!!

Hey Tam,

I don't want to be the one to rain on your parade, but marriage is like a full time job with benefits. If you are the type that strive for the boss's chair (be in control) then you'll more than likely end up taking a leave of absence (separated). If you are the type that feels you don't have to work any harder than your co-worker (spouse), you'll probably end up fired (divorced).

But if you are the dedicated type that works hard and can make the best out of any situation that life throws at you ............ then you'll probably have a wonderful career (marriage) and end up retiring (living happily ever after).

Remember! Every time you place an ad for employment (flirt) you will attract many applicants (men), many of whom only interest is the benefit package (sex). A successful company (marriage) knows that promoting from with in (give your spouse the attention) is always the best option.

While I didn't love being married because I married the wrong person, I love my new boyfriend. I love being in love. Love that fact that I come home to him every night. I'm looking forward and love that fact that we are going to get married someday. Good luck and congrats!!!!!!
