I don't date anymore (married), but when I dated, it was usually someone older. Even my first "boyfriend" was two years older than me, and this was high school, so that meant something then. My husband is also 2 years older. No biggie at this age.
I can't remember ever dating anyone my age or younger, but I have dated older by tennish years, too. I think the best is around one's own age (maybe up to 5 years older/younger, depending on your age--19 and 24 would be okay but not 19 and 14).

I don't think the women who don't like men dating younger women are the same women that date older men. * (Not so fun) Fun Fact: Girls with sexual abuse in their past often times end up with crummy men that don't love them and only want sex. They crave validation from men long after their abuse has passed. The only way they feel good about themselves is if there's a guy. Also, these women end up completely vulnerable to men of bad intention, and that's who they end up with. Then they'll get pregnant, the man will leave and the mother will bring home more screwed up boyfriends and then the child will have a crummy childhood. Anyway, the point is that a lot of girls who date men that are significantly older do it because that's all they've ever known, they may have been sexually molested by an uncle, father, or any other male figure in their lives.

I started out dating guys younger than me, but as I got older so did my men. Now everyone who I date is at least 10 years older than me.

never dated a guy younger than me. dating guys my age usually doesnt work out b/c i find them immature. So i've pretty much only dated guys older than me. My b/f now is 7 yrs older than me

To be honest I have dated all ages from younger to older. As long as we have fun and enjoy each others company who cares about age.
