I would say it should run the sims2 but after installing more then 3 or 4 expansion packs it would slow down and you would only be able to run it on lower graphic settings.

Why? That laptop has a poor on board graphic chipset. Its 128MB which is more then the sims need but even some dedicated cards can run into slow downs with the sims2.

First of all I am not 100% sure the sims2 is compatible with that chipset at all.

My final answer would be No this laptop should not run the sims smoothly but I do not know a whole lot about "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950" but I do know its much worse then most dedicated video cards. This PC should run the sims and run it fairly well unless the "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950" is not supported at all. And if it is supported the more expansion packs you install the slower the game will get and you will most defiantly need to lower the games settings.
