I do actually. That was easily the series that determined the champion in my mind. Sad thing that the real finals were played in the 2nd round of the playoffs (has this ever been the case), but it's the truth. There were no teams in the East worth taking seriously and the inevitable champion was San Antonio, Phoenix, or Dallas (that was just plain crazy), as everyone believed. I didn't see any way any other team could've won, and the only Eastern team that I think could've put up a somewhat entertaining fight in the series was the Bulls, who are still a little inexperienced for the big stage but should only improve. It's too bad, because I was really looking forward to the playoffs this year...too bad I stopped caring about a month ago after the 2nd round.

oh yeah, i said it a long time ago and ill say it again Yes the suns-spurs semifinal match was as close to a great finals as your gonna get because the suns and spurs are the most elite and complete teams in the NBA and the only "for real" contenders. The east is a joke with all of the east superstars (lebron, wade, arenas, howard, gordan etc) either injured or severely slumping and the rest of the west was just too weak.
and thats how the finals were won

The NBA championship was decided between the Spurs and Suns. They are heads and shoulders above the rest of the NBA teams except for the Mavericks. Spurs and Suns are the best teams and they would demolish any team in the East.

Yes it was because the Suns and the Spurs was like the NBA Finals and it has been a series of bloodyness and gore and the only reason Spurs won is because Amare was suspended with also Boris Diaw and they injured Nash! If you beat the Suns consider yourself the Champions with the exception of the Mavs!

No. As for me the championship was determined long before that. With the Heat not at at full strength and the rest of the east so weak . . . whoever won the west should win the championship.

Yes. Once that was over I knew they would be unstoppable, even against Detroit. I did, though, hope that it would be Detroit because the matchup would be better, but then again - Rasheed doesn't have Big Ben, and is a nutcase, so...
As for the person who wrote about "thug" basketball and Compton ratings going up, moron, how come there have yet to be any technical, flagrant, or any other type of fouls in this series? Pop would NEVER allow true thug play. If you think a little hard foul on rubber bando Nash is "thug play"...

Preety much.... as soon as the sorry a$$ mavs got exposed and lost to the warriors thr door opened wide open for the spurs. The suns had no chance against them, coz the suns dont play Defense. Steve Nash sucks as D and so does Amare. Marion, Kurt Thomas and Bell r the only 1s playing decent D. Spurs have fire power and D. So after dallas suffered that embarrasing Loss the spurs knew they got this inthe bag.

yes and no.
the style of ball played doesn't favor the Suns. meaning Jungle ball. if it was Detroit vs. the Suns I would think that the Pistons would win hands down.
and all my ##$$%% would burn detroit!!!!!!!!!
seriously, the Pistons and the Spurs would have been good, like two goon teams playing each other, GREAT, just what the NBA really needed. I am sure the ratings in Compton would have been great!!!!!!!!!!

No, cause if detriot beat the cavs, then the piston would of had a better shot at the spurs. Most likely the pistons would of lost but, you never know. Cavs just had no chance against the spurs.
