If Texans are so proud to be from Texas, then why are literally 100's of thousands leaving it...the East Coast has been flooded in the last 4 years by Texans.

I come from a Texas family. There was once a rather proud democratic tradition in Texas, but the oil companies developed complicity with the Saudis and the big money became more and more Crypto-republican... it reached a point where the gerrymandering, the government corruption and the repression of free thought became intolerable. Also Texans of a decent stripe are very aware of the fact that the illegal immigration problem is being unjustly blamed on democrats: they know republican businessmen profit from it and that the faithful brainwashed minions are made to blame the Mexicans and the democrats for what is quite clearly a republican business created problem. They weary of the lies. Yeah, I'm blaming the Bushies for making an entire state, a State that they didn't even come from, unlivable.

See, the illegal mexicans who cross the border in TX are considered Texans when they leave TX for the next states.

It is because of the presence of a lot of bilingual people. Most of the Asian and Mexican people are coming to Texas because most of houses are so cheap.So, the Texas people are leaving Texas.
