I was going to pay by money order and I was told it must be in STERLING. Does anyone know what this means and where can I purchase a STERLING MONEY ORDER?

Either you get the payee bank information and make a money transfer, or simply go to western union and they will take care of the exchange rate. Yeah Money gram too, wal-mart customer service has their machines and they are cheaper than western-union. but basically contact your payee and see if they would deal with those!

Most main branches of banks such as Bank of America can help you. They can tell you the current exchange rate for any country, as well as helping you with a money order for them.
