Just a small baseball cap type of hat, nothing huge that covers the entire head or hides your face at all?

Wow, thanks for all the answers! I have to wear dark sunglasses and hats when I go out for health reasons, I knew the sunglasses would be a NO, but was hopeing the hat was okay. Oh well, Thank you guys!!!

Nope, no hat, no sunglasses--nothing that changes/obstructs your appearance.

no, there was a big lawsuit because a Muslim woman wanted to have her picture taken wearing her burkha and DMV said no. that led to a discussion of what can and can't be worn in the photo.

It depends on what state you're in. I know in Missouri you can, as long as it doesn't cover your face. Call your DMV and ask.

In Tn you cannot cover your hair at all. I was told to take mine off.

Check with your BMV. I know the BMV where I go says that you can't (Montgomery Co. Ohio)

nope ,they wont allow this at all ,you have to have the pic taken with nothing on your head but your hair,good luck with it.
