I think at times life can be an amazing thing....like when you're in the arms of a loved one, when you enjoy the sun, when you're engaged in a good TV program or video game, when you get an adrenaline rush from working out, when playing a sport, when you're with your friends or family and just being silly and enjoying life, when you're on an amazing vacation that you've always dreamed of, when you give back to the community and the people appreciate it, when you get something new, when you plant something and watch it grow, when you're carefree.
On the other hand, life can be really nasty sometimes...with all of the war, killing, crime, drugs, violence, and abuse.
I just try to stay on the positive side of life as best as I can.

It IS awesome!!! Today, June 14, 2007 marks the 8th anniversary of my kidney/pancreas transplant! I cannot believe it has been 8 years and I keep looking at the clock because I remember what I was doing every second of that day up until 3:30 p.m. when they put the mask over my face and they told me to count backwards from 10...I sang "I Believe I Can Fly (Pee)"...

It isn't awesome, but life is most definately worth living. I have good friends, great books to read, a family who leaves me alone, a laptop in the mail (I named him Bob), a nice to sleep in, and everything is just going right for me now...

I used to, now it's just OK.
Volunteering and helping others helps you appreciate what you have, and what others go through.
Lately I feel more like I'm just biding my time until it's over, and nothing I've done has a lasting significance. I guess that answers the why not part.

I love my life. Even though I've been through ups and downs I would never let someone take it. I live my life to the fullest.

I do. Because I feel so alive & because it just is. Everything about it, nature, the sunshine in the morning & the breezy feel of the ocean, the smell of forests after the rain etc.. I love it!

I sure do. The fact that I woke up this morning and am able to talk, walk, eat, and breathe is wonderful.
