He (King George III) calls together legeslative bodies at places unusucal, uncomfortable and far removed from the depositories of records for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance.

No taxation without representation!!.
He imposed taxes on the colonies but did not allow any elected representatives in their parliament. So the colonies felt they were forced to pay taxes and had no ability to influence what they were to be used for or at what rates the taxes would be charged.
