Bush's rating is SLIGHTLY higher because most people don't even know the names of their own Reps. or Senators. They know they dont like them though because the White House has a more powerful propaganda machine.

Sho nuff. The presidential office is always easier to get a favorable rating for.
People hate the government because they have problems in their life, and love to blame those problems on the government.
It is much easier to hate a large group of people like congress than it is an individual in the oval office. The president has the advantage of selling himself to the American people, while the congress is a massive body that is often at war with each other and unable to appeal as a unified body.

Partisan Bickering!!

While some people talk about Bush going down in history as the worst president, will this congress go down in history as the worst also? A true unbiased historian would probably agree.
Send them home...vote them out! All of them, especially Senators!

It is?

Is this a Fox News Poll? Because that would explain it. All of the polls that I have seen, Congress has a much better approval rating than the president.

thank you!! people fall into the democrat / republican trap. as if one party is all good and the other is all bed. they are all responsable for what happens to our country. if they didnt make a bad choice, then they allowed it to happen. none are excused!! blaming one only allows another to slither away. i heard that mexicans will do jobs americans "wont do". maybe we should give them jobs in congress????

Yes, the Christian right staunchly supports this devil worshiping scumbag! They have been lied to and brain washed. This inflates his numbers. The congress don’t have this same support as reflected in their low score.

Democrats are angry that the democratic congress promised them that if they would vote for them, they would not bow down to Lord Bush, but they lied!!

They not only bow down to him, but they are in bed with him as well!!!!
