earth's not really round
it has many valleys n high peaks
they're not seen from the space and earth looks round because earth's diameter's 12756 km n it's very large compared to the heights n depths of several mountains n valleys.
also earth's slightly flat at d poles .

Almost, but it's not a perfect sphere. It is slightly flat at the poles, and bulges a little around the equator. This is due to centrifugal stresses.

The Earth is technically an "oblate spheroid". It bulges slightly at the equator due to its rotation.

No. It's actually kind 'pear-shaped' with the Southern hemisphere being a bit larger than the Northern. By a 'bit', we're talking only 20 or 30 miles âº

Ignoring the twit that answered first...
No, it is not "round"
It is ovate, bulging at the equator, and flatened at the poles.

Its not perfectly round but it is spherical.
Still some people seem to think it is flat--->http://www.alaska.net/~clund/e_djublonskopf/Flatearthsociety.htm

No. It's an oblate spheroid: equator bulges, poles are flattened.

no.its actual shape is ovoid,it is flattened at the poles and bulged and the equator due to its extremely fast rotation speed.
