I have never given my husband a reason to believe that I am jealous or insecure. I don't question him about his where abouts and I don't give him a hard time about going anywhere. But recently he received a graduation invitation from someone that he did not recognize and when I asked him who it was he told me he didn't know. I left it at that. He went all out trying to find out who it was and later told me it was one of his cousins. Then he made a comment about how cute it was that I was jealous. To me that's not jealousy, that's just asking a question and I think anyone would have asked. What do you think?

I would tell him that was cute of you to think I was being jealous when I really wasn't.

I think it was an honest question and normal question that I would have asked as well, but if it makes him feel good to think you were a bit jealous...let him have the compliment.

Nothing to worry about, it was nothing and I don't think your asking was jealousy at all. He's your husband, your life partner, you have a right to know all.

Um..so how is saying "I don't know" considered respect? I don't even think its jealousy. Actually...it sounds rather petty to me.
How about just saying to him "Hey..i asked a simple queston..which I point out that you couldn't answer...so can you tell me how in Christ's name you think my question stems from jealousy?".
Lets see what he say to that.

It is not the jealousy but, some men like to see their wives or girlfriends feel it, or show it to them.
